Středisko náhradní rodinné péče (The Centre for Foster Family Care)
Foster family + child + a specialist as partners (Methodical Centre for Foster Family Care Development)
Goal: to create a specialist centre which would embrace the whole issue of foster family care and, based on its experience and the outcome of projects, would create an essential methodology for working with children and families within the system of foster family care. Part of the project will also include the systematic provision of quality, professional and publicly available services.
Outcome: methodology for foster family care prepared according to the individual phases of the process.
Help for target group: 150 applicants for foster care and 600 adoptive and foster families.

Systemic change of the concept of foster family care services and methodical preparation of professional foster families in the Pardubice region
Goal: to introduce new forms of professional foster care and a new concept for working with existing and new foster families who will be offered 3 service packages according to the cooperation intensity and families' needs which will improve the quality and effectiveness of their support. The concept will also be assessed.
Outcome: a new methodology of professional foster parents training, including rules for its sharing and verification of its usefulness in practice, concept for working with foster families.
Help for target group: 70 existing foster families, 20 new foster families and 5 professional foster families.

Use of therapeutic methods in work with children in foster care
Goal: To support and help children in foster care by using new therapeutic methods, to verify their impact on the quality of "therapeutic parenting" and the quality of children's lives. Part of the plan is to extend the services of the Foster Care Centre by preparing people interested in fostering.
Outcome: Methodical aids for techniques to strengthen attachment, the methodology of a support group for children in foster/adoptive families, the methodology of a group for the foster/adoptive parents' own children.
Help for target group: 30 children from 20 families (i.e. 30 children and 32 foster/adoptive parents), a total of 62 people.

Assisted contact
Goal: to support the adequate mental and social development of children in foster family care, by reinforcing awareness of how important it is for children's identity to keep in touch with their biological families, as well as by creating a space for meeting and communication between the foster family and the biological family with the support of a specialist worker, by providing assisted contact form and eventually by ensuring independent functional communication enabling the child to meet with its biological family without assistance.
Outcome: methodology for establishing and developing relations between a chid in foster family care and its biological family.
Help for target group: 5 children or siblings groups.
