Grant strategy
We divide up 100% of the donations
The Sirius Foundation divides up the grants on the basis of a professional analysis of the situation in the area of helping children. The costs associated with running the foundation are borne by its founders; therefore all of the donations can be divided up among the projects chosen in the grant proceedings.Transparent grant proceedings
The grant proceedings are built on the principle of transparency. We approach the proceedings’ participants as equal partners – we actively communicate with the participants and give them enough information on the course and results of the proceedings.Effective solutions
We cooperate with organisations that focus on effective solutions to problems before they arise, i.e. on the prevention and elimination of a phenomenon. We welcome the use of modern methods and approaches that have been tried and tested in practice either here or abroad. We also support utterly unique projects.Professional and long-term projects
The Sirius Foundation is aware of the need for long-term activities that endeavour to bring about a permanent change in the given area.
The foundation gives both financial and managerial support for projects. The foundation guarantees the professional activity provided by experts.
In order to correctly understand the Foundation’s objectives and the grant process there are the following documents:
